The PERFECTA HS

During the packaging process, the bags can be condensed to a residual oxygen content of under 3-5 % 

The PERFECTA HS machine produces double-chamber tea bags with a hard tag which is additionally sealed in a flat bag sealed on three sides.

This machine can process a large selection of materials suitable for heat sealing which have a paper, polypropylene (PP), aluminium (Al) and polyester (PET) basis. It applies a polyethylene (PE) coating seal or another appropriate sealing layer.

Functions

A metallised layer will significantly increase aroma protection. An even greater effect is achieved with an aluminium foil in the composite with a thickness of 7– 9μm. This packaging is gas-tight, which means that no oxygen can penetrate.

The aluminium composite foil combined with packaging in a protected environment (nitrogen) provides perfect aroma protection and extends the shelf-life of the product.

Nitrogen can be fed in by a pipe during the production process. This drives out oxygen from the packaging and creates a bag with a residual oxygen content under 3–5%.
